Major Problem is that any peaceful song is seen as to slow by our fast paced world.Rarely now does a "slow song" become popular. It has to be remarkably beautiful to be appreciated.

Good point, punjabitype, I agree. The songs from that era were crafted, not manufactured like they do these days. That era is lost forever because the giants of Indian music (RD,SD,Nitin Madan) are no more. Also, they would not have survived today because tastes of Indian audiences have gone to s%$t ....

it's amazing that with some exceptions, the most viewed indian songs on youtube are the really old ones or from the 90s! maybe bollywood should reconsider its "insert slut here" formula.
