The legend of the French Revolution and Napoleon, doesn't belong to u. It is too late, u can't do anything. It has spread all over the world. It is the symbol of the struggle against all forms of oppressions. You've already lost. You belong to the past.I have nothing to justify. Vive la liberté, vive l'Empereur ! Vive les droits de l'homme !

I understand your 'contexts' arguments tortue, but whereas you were claiming Napoleon was different than other leaders in Europe, you now say he was like any other solo-power ruler across Europe- where did the liberty Genius you claimed earlier now go?

Poor Slizzler. Your a fanatic trying to persuade by all means the people, repeating and repeating and repeating again the same things. I have nobody to convince. History is what it is and great french ideals are what they are: liberty equality fraternity shared by the democrats all over the world and opposed to your ideals of dictature, monarchy, feodality. But your critics of napoleon won't make us forget the real nature of his ennemies. It does not work.

"My power depends on my glory and my glories onthe victories I have gained. My power will fall ifI do not base it on fresh glories and newvictories. Conquest has made me what I am, andconquest alone can enable me to maintain myposition." Quote--Napoleon-> the passive peacemaker and who got voted into power by the French people in a peaceful transition of power over an elected Assembly.... [ cough ]

Yes; I'm really revisionist- hey everyone- newsflash- according to Tortue I'm lying - it's all fantasy;.....about Napoloeon making his brothers King of Spain and Westphalia, his son King of Rome, Murat King of Naples.... none of his generals had Duke titles, Napoleon didn't orchestrate massacres of Ottomans in Egypt nor of Spanish civilians in Spain. Napoleon never had tens of thousands of French garrisoned in non-French territory. Napoleon never said his conquests and glory rely on victories!

I said totally the contrary.... "You say some real historical facts" (I quote myself). Are you sure you perfectly understand ? That's Ok ! You are a member of the Monty Python! LOL! It was a joke ?I can't explain u the same thing for years. Read again my previous words about your analysis and use of history, about the way you take ONE reality out of its contexts just to hide the realities u don't want to hear about. It is not this way historian proceed except revisionnists.

lol- my joke about Nappy's Generals turned into Dukes with paper thrown in air was of course a joke....

If you want to proceed with the debate tortue, simply say which of the many points I made are incorrect- the way you try to turn the discussion off topic digs you deeper in the losing side. You have ended up confusing yourself. My points are simple and all true-tell me which ones are not historical facts- let's see if you avoid answering that.
